Heroine
Heroine
Our stories revolve around our heroine, Eva Sanchez. Eva was born in Quito. When she was a young girl, her mother died of tuberculosis. In hope that her daughter would not become sick like her mother, Eva’s father made sure her health was fantastic. She studied at Universidad Central del Ecuador and after two years left to go study in the United States to get a degree in public health and her M.D. Eva would have stayed in the United States, but she saw the health problems in her country and returned. She travels across the country, addressing the health problems of the people. She was designed by our very own Ana Corral.
